DIMENSIONS is an event concept that I have designed for the final project of my Music Business degree.

I have always been interested in visual installations. A good visual in a music show can stimulate all senses, creating an immersive experience that can bring the spectators to another dimension. Inspired by events like Reaktor in Amsterdam, or Re-Textured in London, I decided to create a space where visual arts and different electronic music genres merge to bring a new dance experience, DIMENSIONS:

''Dimensions is an events company that organises electronic music events and invests in creating immersive experiences through visual arts. We aim to create an experience where music, art and club culture come together to create a special, involving and euphoric intimacy. Inviting artists from different underground genres, like industrial techno, jungle or independent electronic music, to perform together under visual installations with strong visuals, animations and high quality images.

  • Support innovation in new electronic music and digital arts.

  • Create a community around our events concepts.

  • Showcase emerging artists across music and visual arts.

  • Pick up the latest trends in Digital Arts applicable to dance music, and export them to our events.

The best way to explain DIMENSIONS concept is through images, so I have edited this promotional video using images from shows that have inspired our event:

As part of our values, stage and visual design would be another key area of our events. The following video created by Jordan Bourzig shows the concept for our first show:

The documentation of this project also contains business, events, and marketing plans, as well as branding guidelines to demonstrate the viability of our project. All these plans can be shared upon request. Below is a copy of the branding guidelines created for DIMENSIONS:

I would like to thank Jordan Bourzig for the animation design, and Tim Alexander for the design of the logo. I highly recommend checking out their portfolios, as they are both very talented designers. More stages, images, posters and animations from Dimensions can be found on the website and gallery below:
